Bennett’s Close, Whalley
We are delighted to unveil a recent prestigious residential project on Bennetts Close in Whalley, in the beautiful Ribble Valley, which required many shading solutions including Plantation shutters, motorised and traditional blinds throughout.
On drawing up to the house an immediately pleasing aesthetic was achieved through the use of Plantation Shutter to the front elevation. On this occasion painted in a sophisticated matt stone finish, to harmonise perfectly with the tones of the stone and landscaping. Within, the shutters provided the perfect balance of light and privacy and give a very neat, contemporary feel. Plantation shutters can fit unusual shapes, are robust and easy to clean.
Moving into the large lounge, Motorised Vision roller blinds fit each bespoke window and are all operated and linked to the automated Control 4 System, ingeniously synchronised to move at once, as is the case throughout the house. A touch of a button can instantly and effortlessly alter the ambience of the room to match your mood and comfort.
The stylish approach continues in the Kitchen and Sun Room area where light levels are crucial. The objective was not to obscure the views to the garden but on a sunny day supply a blind which allows external vision when deployed and uses a fabric blind that allows external light in but protects furniture from fading through sun damage. Again, here motorise roller blinds held within a powder coated cassette were selected. A similar solution was used for the Master Bedroom and en-suite bathroom, which had a moisture friendly fabric.
The Cinema Room was a unique combination of Plantation shutters and black out blinds, covering a large expanse in a single piece. Blind coverage can be achieved up to 6 meters in width and 10 metres drop. Blinding solutions are so versatile they can achieve all your requirements while really supporting the interior decoration.
